Yup. Also, the use of the reverse slope is a basic tactic. The Duke of Wellington did this all the time (notably at the Battle of Waterloo). Find a slope where you can’t be seen but where you can quickly pop up and fire. This is pretty basic stuff. I would think a security team would specifically look for such hiding places. Ideal for snipers. They should have known about that vulnerability, and when people on the ground starting yelling about seeing someone, they should have been right on top of it.

I have full faith in that the FBI will recreate the scene and prove it was impossible to see the sniper. Upon completion they will then have the building destroyed so it can’t ever be used by another sniper.

Yeah and did he have to go back for the gun. 2 days before the rally he went shooting at the club and then bought a ladder and a box of 50 cartridges. Maybe stashed it the day before. I heard a lot of people said they went days before the rally to look around. And nobody cared. You would think they would not allow people at the venue a few days before. For security.
From the picture of the dead sniper, it looks to me like an exit wound just below his right ear, so this theory makes sense. The other 2 Secret Service snipers positioned behind Trump appeared to facing him head on.
We’ll know for sure when they release the autopsy report in 50 years.
