So do I. Our CEO and many of the VPs are openly gay. Heck the rainbow flag is on a tall pole at the home office, but not an American flag. 19 years with this woke bunch I understand all too well. They don’t necessarily see it as weakness. They prefer to look at it as HATE speech and “not being inclusive” or “accepting” on the conservative’s part. That I stand on and will not budge.

I guarantee you that pointing out their sin will not be seen as any form of grace. Leftists see themselves as morally and intellectually superior to us. Any suggestion that they are wrong about anything will be met with stiff resistance or even hatred.

But I think you’re missing my original point which is that any display of understanding or empathy with someone on the Left will be perceived as a sign of weakness on our part. And trust me, the Left see’s weakness as an invitation to push further.

BTW I worked with around some fairly conservative gays who didn’t share the liberal views of other gays in the organization. Made for some strange interpersonal dynamics.

The left only call for “unity” when they are at a disadvantage. They smell defeat in November, and they want us to overlook every horrible thing they have done. Would there be calls for “unity” if someone in a MAGA hat (God forbid) shot Biden? Can we “unite” with people who want to eliminate and change everything we hold dear and turn our country into what would be, for us, a hellhole? No. There is no “unity.” Only one side winning.

The only way to correct that is for the Right to show some strength and resolve. Unfortunately, that is rarely the case. We usually elect talkers, not fighters who will stand up for us. Trump is a rare exception in the GOP, which is a soulless party devoid of any conviction or determination.
