True! The few 'democracies' that we know of have always turned to tyrannies - and did not survive long!
I posted on TS what a democracy is - tyranny of the majority! We have more women than men; thus women could vote to disenfranchise men. Whites along with Asians or Latinos could disenfranchise black people. IOW it just cannot last... ends in violenceā
