Some of these people had better start realizing they’ll be putting a target on their back.

More than ever. He will immediately send Trump to prison after sentencing. They are not stopping u til Trump is eliminated one way or another. They tried killing him, they failed. They can still imprison him and that commie judge will put him in prison.

I believe he will get probation as every other felony holder gets in New York.

Judge: “Well you know I may be saving Trump’s life if I put him in jail. He’ll thank me for it later ... I think.”

People can work backwards from their agenda and justify almost anything.

Probably. They’re certainly not going to give him a pass because some kook tried to shoot him.

Now, with the assassination attempt, it will be tougher for Judge Merchand to sentence Trump to a jail term. The whole fake lawfare complex is now underscored by the assassination attempt which also is driving holes in their convicted felon storyline they were looking to market for the campaign. Merchand probably has no stomach for the case anymore which is going to be reversed on appeal anyway and may be looking at the immunity hearing in September as a way out of his dilemma by simply ruling Trump was immune and dismissing it since it is no longer useful for the campaign

Viewed in the light of assassination attempts, the question should be “will the judge still be alive to sentence Donald Trump to jail”.

I’m of the opinion there are Trump loving right wing extremists who have guns and are good with them out there.

The judge will have to. He may probably double the jail term for inciting an assassination attempt.
