Let me propose that this event might have been some 4D chess. If the shooter doesn’t miss, and Trump is killed, they planned for backlash from the right. Someone takes out Biden. Wouldn’t that be EXACTLY what they wanted?
Then, they could crack down HARD on all the “alt-right” groups, tossing them into cells next to the Jan 6ers, while getting to select the candidate that they WANT without Dr. Jill or Hunter having any say in the matter.
