Houston is without power, still….

Come on are you from Houston? I am it is built on a swamp with no bedrock power poles just tump over in the wind they just has a hurricane and it downed thousands of old rotting poles and lines. Centerpoint is the poster child of post Enron crony capitalism corruption put in there by a all Republican legislative. The only people in the down line areas who have power ironically are the ones with solar panels I should know I sold a number of pallets of panels to my home builder high school friend who puts them up on his luxury builds on Katy. I get them wholesale with my LLC. It’s a side prepper thing for me not for profit. Buy bulk get discounts so communal not so bad in that case. This builds all have island mode inverters so those homes in the downed area have had power since the sun came up days ago. A pox on Centrmerpoint they are the worst.

It will never clean the amount of carbon it took to create the materials used to build it.

Heck, my lawn is a carbon sink and an oxygen producer of immense magnitude.

The oceans are where you want to go after carbon dioxide. These guys have a 15 to 35 euro process that piggy backs on an OTEC plant it’s resource super cheap too. A long wide plastic pipe with no high pressure requirements. The water that comes out is loaded with nutrients and starts a local upwelling food web so you get seafood too. Using an open cycle otec also gives large amounts of freshwater from the ocean, you get 50 degree air conditioning as a waste product what’s not to love.

Seawater has 150+ times the CO2 of air and you can never run out it just sucks more from the air constantly and for free.

CO2 plus freshwater plus electrons gives you all kinds of useful chemicals, food or fuels. Think of it as sunshine in solid or liquid form that you can eat , burn it feed to some yummy cows or chickens or pigs.

A grass lawn is far more effective at removing CO2 than any tree. Only 60 sq ft supplies enough oxygen for a small family. Meanwhile, out here in CaCaLand the state is paying home owners to rip up their grass and lay down plastic grass. Said grass also sheds rainwater right into the sewers instead of allowing it to seep down into the water table. Oh, and we pay an extra tax if other parts of our homes shed water into the sewers — like our driveways and roofs.

If significant C02 is removed plants will die off and their production of essential Oxygen for life will be reduced. The intent of this “scrubbing” is to reduce life of every kind. Get rid of people— excepting them of course.

In May this year, on the flat plains of an Icelandic geothermal reserve, a gigantic vacuum cleaner designed to suck planet-warming carbon dioxide out of the sky was switched on.

Sounds more like the left/greenies are making a giant cardon dioxide bomb.

It sure does.

That’s why I keep it on hand for anyone who buys into that lie.

And with each “Mammoth” inhalation, the plants of the earth gasp a bit more for CO2 air...

the big question with all of these “capture” processes is what are the energy requirements? ... are more CO2 equivalent tons released than “captured”? .... it’s no good to say, well, no CO2 was released by the process because we’re using solar or geothermal energy, because that’s energy that COULD have been used to substitute for petro-generated energy ...

so one has to look at the number of BTU/hours consumed per ton of “captured” and “stored” CO2, and calculate the number of tons of CO2 that would be released by that many BTU/hours generated by burning petro fuels ... would that number of tons of CO2 be more or less than the amount “captured” and “stored”?

Carbon dioxide does not affect the temperature in the first place. It is a marxist hoax to gain control of the means of production. The carbon capture is just a thing to make the hoax look legitimate.

A single Boeing 757 emits 866,000 tones of CO2 a year.
= = =

Boeing is currently in trouble, let’s hit them in their weak state.

Make them dissassemble that CO2. They can emit the O2, which is good for us (today anyway), and collect that C and bring it back. Maybe thay can get a “Recycle Fee” for it like on bottles and cans.

Every year 37 billion tonnes is added , it’s been that way for 200 years
And the ppm count has come up from 180 to 440 ish. Even if humans stopped burning fossil sun shinew today AND somehow managed to pull out 37 billion tonnes per year the oceans have absorbed in equilibrium so much CO2 that they will outgas for the next 2 centuries before ever getting close to the 180 ppm of before which is perfectly healthy for plants that evolved during the epoch of the last major glaciation cycles. All of the C4 grasses being the main ones ( corn, rice, wheat, rye) they all were designed for 180ppm they actually live just fine down to 150 and only show stress at 125 or lower. It will be into the year 2300 before the planet could pull all the carbon humans put into the sky down even with humans helping do it at the rate we put it up. The oceans hold 150 times as much per unit of volume it will take thousands of years to equalize at the old 180 ppm level. So no plants in the next few centuries won’t notice at all regardless of what humans pull out of the sky the volumes are simply too great and the kinetics of the oceans too slow.
