Are Young People Shifting to the Republican Party?
New American Prophet ^ | July 12, 2024 | Sarah Holliday

Vigorous discussion erupted between voters on both sides of the aisle as they speculate whether there’s been a notable shift in political party affiliation — specifically among young people. According to the National Public Opinion Reference Survey (NPORS), and as emphasized by Newsweek, “Young people appear to be flocking to the Republican Party.” It seems these sources provide an outline for how the statistics have changed in recent years to reveal people under the age of 30 are now significantly more inclined to the GOP. It does not, however, give a reason for why this may be the case.

The men are becoming more conservative, but the women are going Left, Left, Left.

Political gender gap grows as young women move left

Despite what you see on TV, a lot of young people are smart enough to understand a boy cannot become a girl

~~~
No not the harvard grads.
The disillusioned millennials and some of the Gen-Z’ers see that non of the glorious promises happened in the last 3+ years, but in fact things are worse. Inflation in particular, but every single one of them that I’ve talked to where social security was broached have told me they will never see any and they know that no one is going to help them.
They were disillusioned 4 years ago but they bought into the hype.
People don’t like being lied to.
Hard to believe there isn’t t such a shift when you look at the ratio of crazy/geriatric in the demon party, it’s 10/10.
Good to see young Americans are finally understanding what America is about, despite the best efforts of the democRat teaching monopoly.
1. The USA is the only country in history built on the fact that Human Rights are inalienable, and do not come from government.
2. The Bill of Rights put restrictions on Government, not The People.
There was an old song with a line that describes the democRat approach – “Do this, don’t do that, Can’t you read the sign?”
Let’s hope the trend continues.
Young men, yes. Young women, NO. They are shifting the other way...hard. That is why Trump’s team is running away from the abortion issue.
It’s the growth cycle. People age 30 are much different than they were at 18. We’ve got to plant the ongoing libertarian seeds in them at 18 so that they can come around at 30 as their minds evolve. Quote Churchill about the no heart/no brain.
No, they're going insane. And the Democrats are the natural party for insane people.
The young people in my own family - and their many friends - frequently complain about not being able to buy a home (even with six figure salaries), the high price of gas and food, the exorbitant taxes they pay on everything.
They have made the connection, finally, between all of these things they are bitterly complaining about and their own voting habits. My answer to them is “stop voting for Democrats!”
Nothing like having to live in the real world, pay your own way, pay taxes on everything - to get that dose of reality and finally realize why this is happening.
They remember well what Michelle Obama did to their school lunches and they do not want that effort extended into every aspect of their adult lives.
