Even as a kid, I found her performance as the weak, spineless, screaming Wendy Torrance in “The Shining” extremely annoying and upsetting

I kept thinking “c’mon girl, get it together!” (and in the end, Wendy barely managed it)

Which means, as an actress, Duvall played it perfectly

They nailed the look, at least (I didnt see the whole movie)

I can only imagine the sea mammal of color they would try to get to play Olive if they were to make a Popeye today.
