Separation of Church and State meant that our nation must never have an established National Church like the Anglican Church of England.   It did not mean that our nation is Godless.

If anything we should never have allowed government schools to take over teaching our children.

Mary Kay Latourneau was the teacher. I think her father was a politician and actually ran for president. Mary Kay had a baby with the guy and then when she was out from prison she had a second child with him.
