In the book of Jeremiah, we are reminded of the dangers of people pretending to speak for God when, in fact, they are spreading lies.
Jeremiah 14:14: “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries, and the delusions of their own minds.”

In fact so many Presbyterians have left the church that it is estimated the church could die out in two more generations.
I believe specifically this church is part of Presbyterian USA. That's a hard left side-shoot from the other Presbyterians. The PUSA is one of those "denominations" that believe more in the Gospel of Democrats than the Gospels in the Bible.
And the leaders of conservative Christian church bodies are often hesitant to denounce them as the Satan-led, demon-worshipping hellholes that these "churches" are.
These churches are just poisoning themselves.
I know an active episcopalian, he’s totally woke, but committed to his leftist-LGBTQ church. they have really become just a political organization, with their constant focus on homosexuals, illegal immigrants, abortion “rights”, pro BLM nonsense, etc...
He’s had to change churches about 5 times, because they keep closing. His kids don’t care, nor do they attend.

I think the “woke” churches are temporarily shoring up the finances of their institutions, for the moment, but doing so for a base that will continue to shhrink.
You cannot grow a religious practice that constantly ignores or is required to “interpret” new slants on its revered scriptures. It does not attrack open minded intellectually honest persons, who do NOT fail to see the division between the scriptures and the practices. Even seeing many of the woke people as “nice”, “empathetic” people is not enough.
Go woke, get broke.
The woke churches seem to be dying the natural death. People just cannot stand them. Let them die in peace!

For it was tol’ tuh me 38 years ago, d’at duh job of duh christian is tuh make duh man of duh woild envy-us of whut yo’ got inside yo’ d’at makes all the madness seem ‘okay’, an’ wi’dout a worry ‘bout nuthin.
I do not see that “working as advertised” too much, today.
