It used to be that Preparation H was made with shark liver oil and it actually worked... now not so much.
May PETA be infested with hemorrhoids..................
I never found Prep H to be effective. Felt too much like getting bitten in the @$$ by a shark.
Anusol was much more effective in the end.
Sorry- duplicated your reply. Shark liver oil major active ingredient of Preparation H, since its invention.
A little of prep H with shark liver oil under the eyes- removes morning puffiness as it shrinks tissue (just like it does/did effectively in hemorrhoids.
