They do have a consensus on what they don’t want, which is Trump. Only thing holding them together.

The French revolution was for what they didn’t want.
After they won, there was more they didn’t want.

The French Revolution and the Jacobins were basically Communist Revolution 0.1. It was about as unlike the American Revolution as it could be.
