Everybody hates tourists. We like they’re money, but tourists get in the way, and can’t drive, and clog up all the cool things in your city.
Absolutely agree. It is a real mixed blessing - everywhere. In the old days, when only the wealthy could afford to go on vacation in another country, it wasn’t much of an issue.
Nowadays, with wealth in private hands at an all- time high all over the world, it has become a different kettle of fish.
