If you read the article, none of the people who were in the care who caused the accident, who were suspected to be using alcohol, were harmed.

Before I read it I said to myself “Dodge Charger or Challenger “
No surprise.

So the moral of the story is alcohol makes you invincible and the sober ones get hurt/killed? I think I’m staying home at 3:00AM instead of out catting around on the drunk infested highways.

Sad. He came a long way and had a good attitude.
But - like somebody said:
Stay away from goofy people,
Stay away from goofy places,
Don’t be out at goofy times.

I have a rule. If you are going to force me into an accident you will be part of that accident.

Only bad things happen to people out on the road at 3 A.M..
Sadly, as lesson NEVER taught nor, if it is, learned...

I may be wrong but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if you're up at 3:14 a.m. you're either drunk, stoned, or drugged up on something.

Trying to figure out how the Charger got past the guardrail. Did the accident happen in the intersection itself?

My Mom used to tell me that *nothing* good ever happens at 3:14AM. And having worked the night shift in a big city ER I can tell you that she was *absolutely* right.

“””Police said Hazel was driving a Dodge Charger”””
Dodge Chargers seem to be the vehicle of choice among the people who think they can outrun the police. Check out the youtube videos of high speed chases.

A couple decades ago, the First Round Draft choice of the Miami Dolphins was killed before his first season started, and, if I recall correctly, before he signed his Rookie contract.
In that case, alcohol was the issue. The young man crashed into a gas station pump at high speed, causing an explosion and a raging fire.
The young man was a running back, one of a long line of Miami Dolphin draft choices trying to find a running back who could help Dan Marino, who faced a pass rush or a blitz on EVERY play.
A tragic death from every angle. The family lost a son, and they lost the financial wind fall that would have come with his contract.

Back when the Eagles had Reggie White, the Eagles lost rookie Jerome Brown a first round 9th pick in a car accident. Sad this one was not the kids fault.
