We did a Carnival cruise in the mid-’80s. It was AWFUL! Never again. IIRC, the dining room was set up like picnic tables and benches. There were holes in the walls between cabins. Definitely slumming.

America does not have a race problem, America has a problem with a race. We have a segment of our society that reflexively resorts to violence to solve every issue. It is out of control folks and be assured it is going to get much much worse. The official government narrative is that based on your skin color, you are absolutely unaccountable for your actions no matter what you do. The rest of us are told to put up with it to make up for past racism.....or something. Scott Adams was spot on when he said if you value your safety and the safety of your loved ones, move as far away as possible from these people.

My family loves cruises, especially the elderly - We will NEVER go on of those massive cruise ships again, filled with drunks and partiers. NO Thanks.
We now go on American River Cruise lines, much smaller boats, far better service, amazing food - and more importunely, a better cliental. Family also likes Viking Cruises.
No, but after we got home I ended up with Covid (still dealing with it). But we also spent several days on land in Alaska after the cruise and of course there’s also the packed flights, so who knows where I got it. Luckily it’s fairly mild.
Seems like the probability of catching some bug when you travel is like 90%.
I remember a few years ago welfare cards were being used to access cash on cruise lines (at casinos as well).

He’s right of course, but the government constantly making it harder - you know, inclusivity and diversity and equity.
The only solution is separation, as in separate countries. It would actually be better for both races. How to get there is the 64k question.
They’re too stupid to understand why they should be ashamed of themselves. More often than not this seems to be the culture we’re supposed to accept as equivalent to other successful cultures (knowledge, wisdom, civility, accomplishment, contribution to the world, etc.).
Prime example of, “this is why we can’t have nice things.” A family saves up for a cruise, tickets to a theme park, a movie, a flight… and get this.
Doubt there will be consequences for their actions, everyone will have to walk on eggshells trying to avoid the curse of being called racist. Consequences, being punished in some form is what is needed.
If it was my boat I’d lock them up for the rest of the cruise. Probably best for the safety of other passengers.

They can’t help it. This is what it’s like to get something to eat in the “Takes A Village” villages of Africa. It’s always like this at mealtime. LOL Pepperoni Forever!!!
