Sides has obviously never seen Caitlin Clark play basketball before she was drafted by the Fever.
And Sides likely has no idea who she has on her team—the greatest clutch shooter in women’s basketball history.
It is time that someone from the Fever front office notified Coach Sides that she has the greatest shooter in college basketball history playing on her squad!
Here are a few of the shooting records Caitlin Clark broke in the last year:
NCAA records
Most career points — Division I, men’s and women’s (3,951)
Most points in single season — Division I, women’s (1,234)
Most career 3-pointers — Division I, men’s and women’s (548)
Most 3-pointers in a single season — Division I, men’s and women’s (201)
NCAA Tournament records
Most career points — Division I, men’s or women’s (491)
Most career assists — Division I, men’s or women’s (152)
Most career 3-pointers — Division I, men’s or women’s (78)
Most points in single tournament — Division I, men’s or women’s (191)
Most 3-pointers in single tournament — Division I, men’s or women’s (32)
So, instead of running an offense that centers around Caitlin Clark, Coach Sides runs an offense centered around Aliyah Boston, who shoots less than 50% on shots she takes that are mostly around the rim.
Coach Sides has cut Caitlin Clark’s field goal attempts of 18-20 per game during her college years, to 12 shots per game in the pros.
Sunday afternoon, with seconds remaining in the game, Coach Christie Sides drew out a final play that involved getting Alijah Boston the ball at the free-throw line. Clark was told to pass to Boston.
Here’s how that went – Boston threw up a brick!

the COACH is JEALOUS of CAITLAN if team owner does not fire this woman his team will continue to lose hes in it for the money so what does he do?
LEX
Shes the best...and shes white. Damm this country has turn to complete shit.
Maybe they don’t want it to be like the NBA. They have to give every player equal opportunities - win or lose.
Jim Hoft needs to get a life. Maybe he should apply to become the Fever’s coach?
Any coach knows you put the ball in the hands of your best player. This is like when Pete Carrol chose to throw on second and goal when Lynch was dominating the Patriots O-line
Boston has a year more experience and has a higher percentage of shots made than Clark.
I wonder why Sides pulled Clark when she had the opportunity to get the first Triple double for a rookie with just one more rebound. Sides needs to stand back and let the team play
Three players Boston, Mitchell and Clark voted on the All Star team They need an All Star Coach.
To impress the coach, and the rest of the WNBA creeps, Clark needs to dress all in black, from head to toe, and do some smash and grab looting. THEN, share the loot with the coach and players.
C’mon, Man!
They’re losing because they’re no executing basics. The defense was atrocious.
She’s not a good coach.
This is not the first article about the Indiana coach stifling CC. It’s not the first time that a woman conspired to sabotage a more talented woman.
They are going to do anything to destroy that woman.
She got all white girl uppity. Don’t she know dis game fo’ lesbian black qwangz.
And how jealous they must be that she has her own natural hair while the others parade around in their hair hats.
And worst yet, straight!!!!!!!
BassetBall has never been berry, berry good for me.
It's a shame that nobody told her shot that.
Just saying.
🤔
Do you think that Caitlin Clark’s percentage would go up if she was shooting 3 foot bunnies like Boston?
Sides has proven a poor coach. Three All-Stars and 8-13 record. Not unusual for such coaches to act defensively, going strictly with stats. Doesn’t inspire confidence (or swagger as it would be called with men) in players.
Showmanship, gambles, and swagger make for more fan interest.
