I reject the premise of this article.

Cheating is cheating, Biden or no Biden.

Both issues are important but they are totally separate issues.

The upshot of 6/28 is Biden’s affect was terrible. A veteran debater had an off day. But all the policy reasons voters had for voting one way or the other remain. Is Trump less detestable for those who hate his guts? Is Biden less likeable to his fans? If anything, Biden gets the sympathy vote. For his fans, a lion in winter, but nonetheless a lion. If post debate polls are any indicator, the effect on Biden’s numbers were minimal, with a downtick of a point or two.

https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/president/general/2024/trump-vs-biden

Real life is not a civics textbook. In politics, challengers turf their leaders not because they have to, but because they can. A CFO will connive with the board of directors to replace the CEO because it’s good to be CEO, and there’s no inherent right for anyone to be CEO, so why not the CFO?

Democrat contenders and consultants not in Biden’s inner circle aren’t worried about the Democrat party’s future. They saw a chink in his armor and were hoping to drive a truck thru it for personal gain. Openings for presidential nominations, and fresh slots in their entourages, don’t grow on trees.

But so far, nothing has changed. Away from CNN, every one of them polls worse than Biden. He’s a conniving bastard, but generally regarded as a nice guy.

Re debates, the thrill is gone. It’s now Dancing with the Stars, except boring, and with a less photogenic cast. So why do people agree to them? Both contenders are within low single digits. It’s like that old marketing dilemma - “Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don’t know which half.” When the numbers are this close and the debate stakes aren’t make or break, it’s an incremental bet.

Besides, when was the last time anyone stopped rooting for the home team because it lost big? Fact is - in elections -most people already have home teams.

Note also that the media generally thinks Biden is too moderate. Now that they have an opening to whale on Biden the Moderate(tm), they’re throwing everything but the kitchen sink at him.

I’m actually more worried about this guy having our nuclear codes right now as opposed to worrying about the election. I do want to win, but he shouldn’t be in office at all, effective today. Don’t care if that means Harris is there for six months. We literally have a stalk of broccoli at the helm. I know....”Harris would be worse”....I’ll take my chances with a conscious human.

The risk is to be silent. Our national security is at stake, Biden needs to immediately resign.

If Biden resigns in favor of Harris, then Trump vs Harris. Match on.

If Biden resigns and the party picks someone else, Trump smiles and lets them self-destruct.

It’s like watching a sinking ship, and the crew is frantically trying to find the lifeboats. solve the problem by throwing the captain to the sharks.

That's more precise, isn't it?

“How could he go from delivering a relatively coherent State of the Union address just a few months ago to this mess?”

It’s almost as if the author doesn’t know the difference between reading from a teleprompter and talking about multiple different subjects without any notes.

Be understood that ballot harvesting is a euphemism for cheating.

The Democratic political machine, a well-oiled juggernaut with billions at its disposal, is primed to rally behind a new candidate without missing a beat. Biden might be the weak link, but their high-tech, data-driven operation is designed to dominate. The Democrats' capacity to mobilize voters and harvest ballots with military precision is no joke. We can't afford to underestimate them or get complacent.

Well our side has been doing that consistently since just after 2016 - why would we be expected to stop now? The Left dramatically outraises, out organizes, out markets, and outworks us. Our candidates are left twisting in the wind being pulverized by Democrats and the media with no way to fight back...a completely voluntary action by the base. We have chosen to lose many of these races.

I think that the American public is starting to get real tired of Democrats. Even if they put up a new candidate the American people now know that they have been lied to for 5 years and why reward a criminal enterprise.

“Let’s not forget that the Democrats excel at playing the long game”..... Not really ,they control the deep state so the knee jerk reactionary mistakes and self destructive precedents they set can be covered up well enough to keep themselves clean.

Some globalist leaders play the long game but our Democrats are not that bright.

This is different than scheming, utilizing patience and implementing the conditions you want without folks realizing it.
