There are a ton of car search sites on the web. Just google them.
Main thing is to get a mechanic you trust to check the car out thoroughly before you buy. Might cost you a hundred or three, but well worth it in the end.

What seller wants the risk of selling private party in almost any city and many suburban areas ? There is so much crime now that unless you already know the buyer through family, friends, or neighbors, why not just sell to Carvana or CarMax ? Who wants to spend hours and give keys to a lowball buyer who needs a mechanic to ok the sale ? For friends, neighbors, and family, yes; for strangers not so much

That’s great advice.
Honda and Toyotas are great options. If she finds one she likes and has a qualified inspector examine it, she can likely get another 100-150,000 miles.
