It's a noteworthy juxtaposition of musical generations and styles. While I'm not a fan per se of either woman, as a lifelong musician I acknowledge their God-given talents and respect their career successes.

IMO neither is a paragon of virtue, but virtue doesn't get airplay, then or now. This was a nice gesture on Swift's part. It's very clear that Nicks was a huge influence on her musical development.
