People have to understand most of these stories are GOP Swamp Filth who increasingly can see Trump winning and all their influence and power and money from the RNC going away forever.

The GOPe Swamp is likely working hand in hand with the DNC to help them.
Biden is 100% sure of two things. 1) No one else can get the nomination but Harris. The women and blacks will demand it. 2) He is more able to beat Trump than she is. Far more able.
Given those two realities, he will argue TO THE DNC that they have no choice but to circle the wagons.
One can’t underestimate what they’ll do to get Trump - and their overzealous greed!
