I’d let Justice Clarence Thomas select his own replacement.

What could Trump demand from the democrats in congress? Big spending cuts they could always restore if they win in ‘28. Eliminate whole departments they can’t restore.

Judge Thomas is probably ready to retire. He has served for quite some time.

Sure, let Thomas pick his own replacement, and he should be one of the first to retire. I am personally very bothered by his financial relationships with people, unseemly at best. There’s no reason why he can’t live within his means without taking gifts, etc. Phrase it however you want it doesn’t look good.
