Saudi Arabia tried to defeat the houthis in a multi year war. They sent multiple invasion forces into yemen that all ended in defeat. The Saudi’s wound up begging the houthis for a peace deal. The houthis are pretty tough, and the terrain in yemen is really rough. Not a good place to send american troops.
Obama and Biden prevented them from Using US weapons on them because they are Iran’s friends who are Obama’s ilk. John Kerry has a kid married into a high ranking Iranian Family.
