OK, certainly she could do that and obviously is getting a lot of pressure to do so (and she’s also thinking she may be passed-over and thus this would be her only chance) - so let’s say she does it - pulls the 25th Amendment fire alarm.

Then what?

How would Biden’s cabinet come down on this? Bearing in mind that such a vote would split the Democrat party, potentially help RFK Jr. AND Trump, and anyone who votes to remove Biden risk incurring the enmity of the democrat party powers til the end of time.

Who has the power base? Clearly, the answer is “not Kamala Harris”.

I get the hesitation of having the c*ckgobbler in office for a few months. An upside is that the transition and accompanying upheaval would basically hamstring her from doing anything too destructive. She has no chance in the general.

The bigger issue for me is that I still believe in our constitutional republic, that it has defined rules and guarantees, and that system has served us well for 250 years. Biden is incompetent. Whatever the politics, we cannot have a dementia patient as the prez anymore that we would we accept the office be vacant.
