One often hears in conservative media how the top folks at the DoJ, FBI, CIA, IRS, NSA, etc. may be corrupt traitors to the country and the Constitution but the ol’ rank and file are made up of honest, hardworking, patriotic Americans.
To this I call bullsh*t. Out of hundreds of thousands of employees, how many whistleblowers -- i.e., truth tellers -- are there? How many opinion pieces and media appearances have these supposed patriots made? How many have refused to participate in the crimes being committed by these agencies against their fellow American citizens?
Yes, that was a lonely tumbleweed that just rolled by, serenaded by the sound of crickets.
It is not a question about whether these folks can be bought. They clearly can be and are.
Sadly for us, the price for them to sell their souls is no more than their annual paycheck and their retirement. That’s it!
One would hope if you were going to abandon all honor -- in many situations violating a sacred oath they willingly took -- you’d demand more for it than a government paycheck and retirement. But I guess they know the value of their honor more than I.
If you are willing look the other way and remain silent over obvious crimes and violations of fundamental laws then you are not an “honest, hard-working, patriotic American.” If you are willing to participate in outrageous armed assaults on American citizens you are not a “honest, hard-working, patriotic American.”

Any FBI/ATF/DHS employee I’ve met are bureaucratic goobers, looking to go along and get along until they get their pension. They are 100% trained and conditioned not to buck the system, never go against the group dynamic, nor to have their own mind. An ideologue or psychopath in charge, using the jargon, language and processes of the bureaucracy, will have total control

Look at most Fed.gov law enforcement, and you can so how effective the steady and incremental molding process works.
I have noticed the same thing. They believe in the chain of command and normal citizens are not in it.
These agencies see the Citizens of the USA as enemies. Something is extremely wrong with that picture....unless they ARE criminals themselves.
I have a friend who is friends with an FBI agent. I told him you best watch what you say or do around this guy. Oh, he would never behave like the Washington crowd, he would resign first. You’ll find out the hard way, watch yourself with this guy.

They don’t exist. I doubt they ever have. There is certainly little to no evidence of them.
Who’s hiring them? Doubt if it’s a “good guy.”

If we are not living in Post-humanity times, just wait. There are many who are lukewarm, or even cold. Add in the servants of the Dark lord and it is easy to see which way the “winds” are blowing.

LOL. My BIL lives in a 2nd ring suburb next to an FBI agent. Everyone's property is about 1 acre. FBI agent is at bottom of a small hill, so water runs down to his property (and our area gets a lot of rain in winter-spring). FBI-guy sued 4 of his neighbors, claiming they are causing water damage on his property. Judge/Town ruled it was natural drainage, not fault of others.
Its only a small sample size, but they all think he's a pest.
Like at a football game where the winner is obvious, I would prefer to avoid the crowd and leave before the whistle is blown. I think that Armageddon will be best viewed remotely rather than as a participant.
