RamaSWAMPY is the worst. He’s got the mind of a criminal for wanting to subvert Article 2 Section 1 Clause 5 of the Constitution for his opportunistic benefit and goal.
I think any Trump fan will take whoever Trump picks period. The speculation has become pathetically sad.

I think Ramaswamy is too new to the political scene for Trump to pick him. Ramaswamy will be a force in 2028 if he still wants to be.

I agree. “A running mate mustn’t distract attention from the presidential candidate.” Also, Trump has said, his VP won’t be anybody who has run against him. Unless he has changed his mind, I would suggest Allen West.
Above all else, Trump’s VP needs to be an unquestioned MAGA supporter, nay, a MAGA fighter that won’t distract from Trump’s presidency.
Natural-born citizen = Native-born citizen. No matter how much some people want that not to be the case, no court will ever say it’s not.

Why is this important? It’s important for one simple reason: Our President is the Commander-in-Chief of the nation’s armed forces. When you stop and realize this one person holds virtually all executive power, and also take into account the vast increase in speed and destructive firepower modern weapons now have over their 18th Century counterparts, you begin to realize just how important this requirement has become in today’s turbulently shrinking world, and how important it is to apply the narrowest of definitions to the “natural-born citizenship” provision rather than standing on the threshold of abandoning it altogether — forever.
Then perhaps he should be creating his own playbook instead of using Obama’s.
IMHO Vivek would be an awesome PR man for Trump.
My only requirement: That Trump’s pick terrifies Deep State even more than Trump does.

As it is used in the natural-born argument, “native-born” does not mean “native-born.” While all natural-born citizens are “native-born,” not all “native-born” citizens are natural-born. Some native-born citizens are citizens by statutory law not by natural law.

Of the various people suggested as possible vice presidential candidates, Vivek would lose Trump the most votes. Millions of conservative Christians would simply not vote for a ticket that has a Hindu as the VP, especially with the presidential candidate being in this late 70s.

FWIW, my bet is that it will be nobody on anybody’s short list but Trump’s.
