Almost anything you buy, now, has at some point in manufacture benefited somebody or something that you don’t like.
I’ve given up on boycotts. In most cases I don’t think they’re useful (Bud Light excepted). I prefer to ‘buycott’ people who do or stand for things I DO agree with.
Pretty much. Most businesses will capitulate to the leftists because they would make life miserable for the business owners, workers, and customers. And since our side is told to "play nice", as espoused often on FR, the businesses know we don't (or won't) have their backs if the SHTF with the leftists. None of us would show up at their front door steps. The leftists would and have in some cases.
IMO The ones against commodity companies are useful provided alternatives exist.
It’s obv easy to use a a non Gillette razor or drink a different beer or as Disney has found out find other children’s entertainment.
Telecoms are impossible to avoid for most of the nation.
I don’t think that they’re useful for value added products.
So what made the Bud Light "boycott" different or better for you?
I, for one, am happy to have the info. I can shop at many places, buy coffee at many places, buy many different brands of beer. I like to know about "woke" corporate policies (or conversely, non-woke people and companies), and all else being equal, I may be able to simply switch to another brand or outlet. Very simple. No need to over-analyze.
Yup
