In the software industry it’s usually Asian Indians replacing us white folk. The fact that I’ll be 60 this year makes it even harder. I’ve opted for contract work and that’s working out for me.

Any tips on looking for contract work? Any particular website you used?

Also, how was the transition to contract work? I have this impression they expect contractors to know everything and hit the ground running.

Friend interviewed at American Express a awhile back.
The entire campus is Asian Indians. Good luck getting a job there as whitey.

They should change the name to India Express.
