I want the US government to deport Prince Harry as an undesirable.

Why the Brits want to continue supporting the largest group of welfare grifters is beyond me.

You seem to be assuming that just because the USA has been the UK’s greatest ally in the Twentieth Century that they are our greatest ally then and now. That was not then the case nor is it now the case.

If all the “Royals” died tomorrow, the Brits would have the opportunity to save several billions a year forever...but those Onslowian mouthbreathers would probably pick some other jamoke to be King or Queen or as in Chucky III’s case both at the same time.

Like I said, go over there and tell them how to live.

I doubt they’d appreciate it any more than you’d appreciate it if they dictated OUR policies.

billions you say? welfare grifters indeed? how misinformed you are!

try 83 million pounds, most of which is spent on funding upkeep of public landmarks and public events, and including some 2700 trips a year to public engagements within and external to the UK, which, among other things, promote international trade and peace within the Commonwealth.

The Sovereign Grant is 15% of the total Profits from the Crown Estate; the remainder goes directly to the Treasury, more than making up for the amounts disbursed under the Grant. The Grant was increased to 25% temporarily to subsidize the cost of repairs to Buckingham Palace, but recently reduced to the current 12%. Additionally, the King and Prince of Wales as well as other royals pay income tax on income they generate from their privately-owned assets and business interests such as the Duchy nursery and shops and organic foods. Crown Estate properties include income from dozens of retailers, all of which generate income tax for the UK Treasury. And like it or not, a brand of marmalade, cheese or after dinner mints, is just another brand without the label status of Under Warrant of the Queen/King.

You're quite wrong. Most of the Royal Family's income comes from their estates and land, NOT the taxpayers.

In fact, awhile back the Queen voluntarily dedicated a good portion of her real property to be sequestered and pay funds into the Treasury. There is a grant that goes up and down depending on need (a funeral and a coronation are expensive) but given the tourism value, even so it may be pretty near a wash.

And that doesn't take into account all of their work in public service (and again there's tourism value there as well). You probably couldn't do their jobs for a week - it's fairly stressful. Hardly welfare grifters.
