Part of the problem is folks are naturally afraid to speak freely because of the current Communist legal environment. So they are also naturally self regulating their own participation and in turn donations as an unfortunate side effect of this self regulation. And they have just cause to worry, we are now in an environment where what you have said, say now, or say in the future can and WILL be used against you at some point. It is the direct result of Communist governmental suppression and monitoring of free speech. It is now a real risk and folks are being cautious and unfortunately the FR is taking a hit because of this justified caution.

I’m fully prepared, and expect to one day be thrown into Biden’s gulag for the crime of writing something on FR.

Yes. The main thing is that the freedom to assemble is completely gone.
