Time flies. Years race by. But, 2024 has been a stunner in many ways. And many events remind me that the world is running out of time before the last act of a major drama plays out. In other words, the Church Age is winding down.
Let me highlight ten events from this current year that have convinced me of this.

Are we back to dispensationalism?
Are we back to dispensationalism

are you an antisemite preterist ?
I am amazed at the sudden increse in Catholic YouTube videos stating that WWIII and the 3 days of darkness are happening between now and the end of June.
So, in your view, anyone who rejects Darbyite nonsense -- which is what "dispensationalism" originally represented, although, concededly, it has been considerably retrofitted over the past 200 years so as to remove some of the stench of outright heresy -- is an "antisemite" and a "preterist"?
I would ask if you know how absolutely crazy you come across to us believers, followers of Christ, who reject dispensationalism and dispensationalist-based eschatology, but who are neither antisemitic nor do we subscribe to preterism. I would ask, except I think I already know the answer to my question.
The underlying problem, I think, is that the average American "evangelical" nowadays is, I'm sorry to say, as dumb as a sack of hammers.
Many such cases.

Agree the Church Age is winding down and setting the stage for the Anti Christ..plain as day.
Corrie Ten Boom who survived a German Concentration camp said the following: “In China, the Christians were told, Don’t worry, before the tribulation comes you will be translated-raptured. Then came terrible persecution. Millions of Christians were tortured to death. Later I heard a Bishop from China say, sadly, we have failed. We should have made the people strong for persecution, rather than telling them Jesus would come first. Tell the people how to be strong in times of persecution, how to stand when the tribulation comes -to stand and not faint.”
Most of my adult life I’ve heard the newspaper eschatology and assumed we were in the last days. Truth is, we do not know for sure when it will end. It could be tomorrow, it could be a thousand years. I agree with what the Bishop said, we need to prepare for the hard times that are coming.
The attempt to conflate antisemitism, dispensationalism, and preterism certainly proves your point about the hammers.
The great falling away is not the rapture. But a general abandonment of the faith, which we are clearly seeing.
I was excited to see a new (to me) place to get good Christian information (your site). I read in agreement your 10 steps toward the final end. But when I got to your summery saying the Church would taken up (not your exact words) and therefore not have to experience the end (even the first 3 1/2 years) I realized you are incorrectly interpreting scripture (preterist theory) as many others do. So I will not be a follower of your interesting insights in the future. Hopefully the Lord will give you a more correct understanding soon.
spit. jewhateing preterists are such weasels. ... ... .. do you have 3 degrees of divinity / theology from accredited institutions ? i do.
I am guessing that part of your belief and walk with Christ is to ignore scriptures like this. Philippians 4:1-3
4:1 Therefore, my beloved brethren whom I long [to see], my joy and crown, so stand firm in the Lord, my beloved. 2 I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to live in harmony in the Lord. 3 Indeed, true comrade, I ask you also to help these women who have shared my struggle in [the cause of] the gospel, together with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

Well, THE Tribulation as described in Revelation, has not happened yet.
That doesn’t preclude tribulation and persecution in general.
The problem arises by people conflating *tribulation* as in general troubles that we all face in life, with *The Great Tribulation*, aka the Time of Jacob’s Troubles, when God judges the world and restores Israel. That is a specific 7 year event as outlined in Scripture.
So honestly, or not, conflating the two leads to error and deception.
Mohammed and his religion kills Christians. That makes him an obvious candidate for the anti-christ.
The underlying problem, I think, is that the average American “evangelical” nowadays is, I’m sorry to say, as dumb as a sack of hammers.
I would say ignorant rather than dumb. And ignorance can be cured.
Any Christian telling another to not worry the rapture will take you away before real persecutions is failing completely. Christ literally warns us to expect real and harsh persecution when we take up his cross.
That being said it still does not make the rapture untrue nor less important. The rapture will happen but in my opinion it is more about allowing the world to see what exactly a world without God’s hand involved really would be like.
In my opinion it is yet another mercy of God’s to show the most stubborn just how wrong they are and give one last chance to see how much they need God before the final judgment.
Anyone waiting for the rapture to avoid persecution is failing to understand God’s word but that does not make the rapture untrue nor any less desired. As for the timing of the rapture, while it may be physically important to ones comfort, it is by no means doctrinally necessary for salvation, making many of the arguments over it more harmful than productive.
I counsel those curious to just accept the possibility it could be pre, mid or post and instead have faith God will carry us through regardless of our poor understandings.
I suspect that what we really are seeing is the passing of the golden age of the West. Ukraine is a last gasp effort at retaining western hegemony that began with the colonial era and has been maintained largely through the dominance of US economic and military power. With that goes the last vestiges of Christendom, the Western church as we have known it, and general societal collapse.
