You mean dirt bikes that are not street legal? Mine is street legal, licensed and insured. It’s a street legal “dirt bike” or what they call a Dual Sport motorcycle. You meet the nicest people on Dual Sport motorcycles!

I had one of those big BMW dual sport bikes. It’s funny, I would get the “looks” when I was driving through certain parts of the city. I would just shake my head and smile—as if I was going to toss that thing around and in and out of traffic like those knuckleheads.

Yes. Many of them are trikes or quads. No plates. They ride them on onto major roads, off-road them through vacant lots, go tearing through residential areas, sometimes in groups of 20-30 or more. They pay zero attention to traffic laws and are a constant danger to pedestrians and pets.
