It’s not a question it’s a statement..move he first word: America’s cultural institutions are in decline.
The Obama-Biden star-studded fund raiser in CA was evidence of how removed the Dems are from regular folks.
VDH is pretty accurate in his analysis here. What he describes as the Left’s attitude shows they still don’t get it. Another political leader who was smooth talking would NOT appeal to working class Blacks and especially Hispanics more than Trump. A significant part of Trump’s appeal is that he’s crude and direct and talks just like they do. He doesn’t BS them and they know it.
If you look at Latin and South America, there is a long tradition of populists (often Left populists but still populists) having a lot of appeal with voters. In many cases, they don’t like their elites any more than we like ours. Being a man of the people at heart - which Trump clearly is - is a significant part of his appeal.
The left’s immigrant ploy may not work as they plan in the long-run. One of the first things an immigrant desires is their own personal vehicle not mass transit. Then, they would like to own a home not apartment living.
Mass transit and apartment-living are leftist goals which immigrants will not abide by in the long-run.
I once read a long time ago of a battle between whether the US would retain a cultural identity or whether it would become the world’s economic flea market. Consumers, debt and imports were the necessary ingredients. My point being is that our cultural institutions reflect interests that are detrimental to the idea of “America”.
Liberal Hypocrisy is Fueling American Inequality. Here’s How. | NYT Opinion
When you have the New York Slimes jumping on the trashing the Liberal bandwagon, you know the tide is turning. 🤣
How many people are on medications necessary for life, who sit around fretting about the Chinese impact on the culture? Which by the way has been in the crapper for more than half a century already.
All they have to do is throw a switch and you can kiss your pill calendar goodbye.

And in the midst of this our Asian friends are hard at work. In our little central Florida 13th Senate district some $1.5 million in campaign funds have flowed in - most all of it from out of state donors with Chinese surnames. The candidate - Republican Bowen Kou (born in China) - presents himself to be a conservative. American and “Don’t Tread on Me” flags everywhere. We’ll see. Campaign donations are public. See for yourself:

How about your local elections - have you checked your donor lists?
I gave up on Hollywood and all Pro Sports over 30 years ago when they gave up on decency and morality. What’s taking so long for everyone else to see it??
