LONG before any television programs, I was in parochial school - I’m remembering about grade 6-7, age 11 - when I discovered several books on Sasquatch in the county library. There were no photos, no illustrations, just story after story of personal accounts/encounters/sightings and native legends.
I was hooked. Later I saw the Patterson Gimlin film, and the next year saw the documentary Sasquatch: The Legend of Bigfoot.
Despite many disappointments over the ensuing decades, I very much enjoyed the vicarious experience of the team in the series Finding Bigfoot, the best I’ve seen to date. However, the lack of tangible results from the series disappointed me greatly. I hope they bring the series back for more investigations.
I believe - with every atom of my intellect - but have never had an ‘experience’.
Below is Les Stroud’s first episode from his Bigfoot series. Like I said previously he approaches it with a skeptical, but open mind.
Lots of visiting places with sightings, talking with the locals, etc. And then of course going out by himself to see what he can see.

I don’t know if I believe or not; but I’m impressed with the large number of testimonies, many from what seem like very reasonable people.
