Actually, there was a paratrooper folding his chute, that Biden was apparently directing his attention to. But the whole G7 executed a smooth move and closed the distance to Biden after Meloni corraled him. They didn’t want to embarrass America. They know dude is limited!
I guess that little Italian PM thought that if she just walks backwards towards the Drooling Spoon, then no one would notice that she was corraling him.
There is another guy on the ground wrapping up a parachute. Hard to say if he was talking to him or not. The weird thing is his slow, halting, confused movements and his unawareness that everyone else was clued in to watch and listen to the guy that just landed in front of them. Then the super slow-motion sunglasses to the face.

Looked like Biden was mumbling something but the dude paid no attention to him
Based on my personal experience I’m of the opinion that Biden has a complicated case of Parkinson’s Disease. Note the awkward arm position as he stiffly and slowly walks. Every now and then you can see tremors in his right hand. As we know from his short work days he fatigues easily. After he’s been at a podium for a few minutes he tends to stoop forward. His cognitive decline suggests he may have Lewy Body dementia.
Well, I consider myself neither a Republican nor a Democrat, and I don't find it embarrassing whatsoever. In a "representative democracy," the people get the leaders they deserve. In this regard, Biden strikes me as an all-but-perfect embodiment of the state "We the People" today. You love to see it.
