My mom who grew up in Newark NJ told me this story from the 20’s.
I guy raped a girl and was chased by a local group into a blind alley. They stopped at the entrance and set up shop. Police would walk by and knew what was up and just kept going. Eventually the “animal” came out and they beat him to death.
No arrest, no lawyers, no court, no jail sentence. End of story.
Efficient.
Normal men are, I believe, perfectly fine with justice being thusly meted out.
That’s a nice story, it brings a tear to my eye.
It would be nice if this evil person met the same fate.
Just as it should be today.
