“I’m looking forward to the debate later this month between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. How are they going to spin it if Joe suddenly gets up from his seat and starts wandering around the stage for no apparent reason?”

Don’t be so confident that Joe will lose the debate. They will have him pumped up with some drug cocktail and fully oxygenated so he will appear “normal”. Never underestimate Trump’s ability to be an obnoxious bully and lose the next debate like he lost the first one with Biden. Hopefully his running mate will not lose their debate with Kommiela like Pence did. Repeatedly spending all his time thanking the moderators and giving long preambles and running out of time to actually answer.

If Joe collapses on the stage and does not recover, would there be an autopsy that would disclose any uppers? And, of course, would that autopsy ever see the light of day?

I think you are correct. In his lucid moments Biden is able to draw on nearly 50 years in Congress. In his current state, it’s too easy and dangerous to dismiss him.

Trump did not lose a debate with Biden. In fact, Biden was rude and very disrespectful.
