“Dr” Jill is a Dr of Education (Ed.D.) not an MD.Indeed. My sister worked for the local newspaper - a nationally known publication - and word came from on high that Jill Biden was always - ALWAYS! - to be referred to in print as Dr Jill Biden, even though previously that honorific was strictly used with MDs (PhDs were referred to as PhDs). But hey, even Whoopie Goldberg said Dr Jill would make a great Surgeon General!
