What does education have to do with it?
People who emphatically disapprove of Donald Trump — in short, Trump-haters — are likely to be college graduates, whereas people who are quite devoted to him — Trump-lovers — are likely to lack a college degree.
This differential is commonly used by Trump-haters to argue that they are right and the Trump-lovers wrong. “After all,” they contend, “if we’ve had more years of education, especially higher education, it follows that we are smarter than our less educated rivals, and if we are smarter, it follows that we are far more likely to be right in our evaluation of Trump and his fitness to be president. It’s obvious, isn’t it?”
This is essentially the same argument that has been used for decades to “prove” that abortion is morally justified. “We pro-choice activists are usually college graduates, often with degrees from the very best colleges and universities, and we commonly have professional careers, whereas anti-choice activists are commonly nothing better than high school graduates and stay-at-home housewives. How could a housewife from Smalltown High School know more than a professional woman from the Ivy League? Don’t make me laugh.”
Granted, college graduates are more likely than mere high school graduates to have better information about natural science and history and psychology — but does this make them better qualified to elect a president of the United States? That is far from certain.
In 1936, it is almost certain that college grads preferred Alf Landon, the Republican candidate for president, to FDR. In those pre-Gallup days, think of the famous Literary Digest poll of its readers, who were far more likely than the average American to be college graduates. The poll seemed to show that Landon would win an overwhelming victory over Roosevelt.

These “educated” people need to ask for their money back. What they paid for gave them indoctrination instead. And they fall for the conceited superiority act that the democRATs put on. These people really have the cognitive ability of Maxine Waters.
I have several college educated friends. Without fail, any conversation eventually leads to a college anecdote. Either a tidbit from a lecture, or youthful shenanigans. Come on guys, that was forty years ago.
“When I was at Harvaaarrrddd, I never thought I would have to talk to someone like you (with nose in the air).”
But we DO have billions and billions of reasons to be leftist haters. The left is the sewage that will not flush.
The current "Higher education" system in the United States systematically indoctrinates students with a poisonous ideology.
The core communists and socialists were from the education classes.
Admittedly, I’ve never seen them in the room at the same time.
“Give me just ONE generation of youth and I will transform the world”. from the same guy who said “one man with a gun can control 100 without one”.
We have a federal government being run by mostly college grads, many of whom went to Ivy League schools. How’s that working out for the country?
In 2016 we hit a major milestone in that 71% of all people in America were getting a check from the federal government.
I can only imagine that number is larger with all the illegal aliens getting $65,000+ a year.
Those who want Trump are Americans who work for a living. All of the workers; blue collar to white collar, labor to owners.
I suspect most were narcissistic sociopaths.

From, The Last Lion, biography of Winston Churchill, page 2036:
“Jock Colville later recalled,
“Churchill had a natural sympathy for simple people, because he himself
took a simple view of what was required; and he hated casuistry. That was
no doubt why the man-in-the-street loved him and the intellectuals did not.”
Churchill, for his part, considered those on the left who anointed themselves
the arbiters of right and wrong to be arrogant, “a fault,” Colville recalled,
Churchill “detested in others, particularly in its intellectual form.” For that
reason, Churchill “had dislike and contempt, of a kind which transcended
politics, of the intellectual wing of the Labour party,” which in turn
despised Churchill. In 1940 the intellectualism of the left was inimical to
Churchill and to Britain’s cause, which was simplicity itself: defeat Hitler.

In many instances I have noted an inverse proportion between education and wisdom. When it comes to electing your representatives in Washington DC and locally, wisdom Trumps education hands down. BTW, I hold two degrees (BA and JD) but I also had lots of real world experience all along the way.
Some of the stupidest people I know went to college.
And some of the smartest people I know didn’t.
It is not necessarily an intelligence indicator.
But there are few things as bad as an educated idiot. They are so confident in their stupidity they refuse to accept new information. Especially if it goes against what they want to believe.
And that sheepskin gets them into positions of power where they negatively affect the lives of others. And once there, they only hire ‘fellow travelers’
I see what you did there. 8<)
If the American people are not working, America is not working. It is that simple.
The majority of college grads in the US today are in no way intellectually better than high school grads. College is just an expensive indoctrination scam that turns out people totally unprepared for real life who only think they are superior.
They were told they were great before they went to college. They were told a high paying job was waiting for them.
They were fooled.
This is not an insult to all college grads but when using “college grads” to claim they are better at determining
what is best for the country they score very low.
