There were some really wonky things about the Sandy Hook shooting, including crisis actors. Heck, I’ve seen video where one of the “parents” was laughing until he stepped up to a microphone and puckered himself up in the “grieving dad” act. How is anybody to know what is real and what isn’t in such a situation?
I didn’t follow his trial. Did they prove exactly what children did die?
Did they prove any actual harm done to any family as a result of Jones’s statements? Were any families denied life insurance payouts, for instance, because of his statements? What is the actual harm cited? Did any family try to mitigate damage by simply stepping forward and pointing out that their child had died?
The problem with him becoming a free guest on others’ shows is that it denies him a livelihood. A person who goes through bankruptcy doesn’t lose their ability to have a livelihood. This is like a bankrupt pianist being forced to amputate all his fingers. How can this be legal? We don’t have licenses to speak, or licenses to be paid for speaking. It’s not like they can revoke his license. So on what basis could they forbid him from earning money for his future speaking? Why couldn’t he set up a new company just like the old one and continue on as before?
Or - conversely - why hasn’t the entire MSM been bankrupted and banned from any future earnings for their lies about “Russia collusion”?
All of your questions are great. I didn’t follow the Jones trial so I don’t know what was said or proven by either side. I knew about the Sandy Hook event but didn’t delve into any of the details. I also don’t know if Alex Jones is a good guy or bad guy. If he’s Mossad, he still makes a living disseminating their propaganda or infiltrating American psyches. If he’s not Mossad, we can hope he has a successful appeal.
I hate this part of the movie. In a theatre in real life, I would just ask my companion to explain what’s going on on the movie screen.
