Jeff Tiedrich certainly seemed shocked. The libs at my bridge club were surprised too. None of them had seen evidence of his mental frailty prior to the debate. How could they? It was covered up by the media and they’re not paying attention like we (and Limbaugh) are. The failure to campaign in 2020 was attributed to covid and the true believers thought it was a very good idea to remain away from large crowds.
I feel like I’m living in two realities when I read a comment from people like Limbaugh. A LOT of the very right people people were surprised by Biden’s performance.
Sometimes they may go on high alert when a president is stepping down.

Belarus also states that they will be ready to use tactical nukes if a threat to its sovereignty arises.

This whole “administrative state” mess got started when congers started getting lazy(ier). Whenever they put a new program in place and don’t finish the regulations. When a bill ends with “as determined by the administrator” that just leads to a snowball. The EPA has been the worst. A good solid 90% of their krap has been set up “by the Administrator.” At a minimum those ending words should include “ as submitted to and approved by congress.”
This was my textbook in Economic History class in 1977. That said, it is a very easy read for non-economists.
