No I am not exaggerating and it is not the same w/ICE cars. Gasoline can be delivered to cars stalled in major evacuation jams.

EVs may work in Texas but in the Northeast the winters make them worse than useless.

Most Northeast large and medium size cities have a lot of on street parking—garages not available—so charging at home is not an option and battery freezing at night in the winter is real.

Fender benders are also a thing in these cities—and that could mean thousands of dollars of repairs in an EV.

Up here the locals will get to keep on learning—the hard way.
