The trick is finding the more expensive that is actually worth it as far as quality goes rather then more expensive because it has any number of bells and whistles that will break on it.
I am looking at Big Chill for my next fridge. Hopefully it will be a few more years before mine goes to the big scrap heap in the sky.

Yep, exactly. I hate all the electronics in New devices such as washing machines- just give me a dial thst I can set it to whatever I want- no stupid electr9nic menue to choose from. Thr bells and whistles are almost always the things that go first- dials on the other hand rarely go, and if they do, can be bought new to replace easily.
