On nearly every major issue, progressives are hurtling towards extinction.
Abortion, LGBT, guns, crime, open borders, even religion; all the things they relentlessly, senselessly agitate about, if extrapolated out to their inexorable ends, would result in the actual physical extinction of their population. Whatever neural highway connects the “actions” part of the human brain to the “consequences” part appears in them to be not merely broken, but never constructed in the first place.
Worse, we are now several generations deep into progressive parenting: too many people with too many decades of indoctrination on what to think rather than how to think -- and there are millions of them: people who, since birth, have had every adult around them hovering, helicoptering, and insulating them from even the most benign challenge, depriving them of the essential, evolutionary sting of a bad choice.
Now they are grown and thickly among us in all our public and private institutions, incapable of regulating their emotions to process even the smallest deviation from their Truth; their never-jostled internal compass they are certain points them morally and intellectually to true north. We, the unindoctrinated, are left scrambling for purchase, for even the simplest agreed upon objective truth (“What is a woman?”).
The rules for informed American citizenship used to be full sunlight and reasoned debate with objective truth -- or, at the very least, an agreed-upon set of facts -- emerging from civilized rough and tumble. (Think William F. Buckley or Milton Friedman debating liberals, who used to know how to comport themselves.)
The rules now seem to be: whoever is the wokest or loudest wins. They don’t even have to prove their case on the merits. They just have to silence the opposition. Their opponent’s acquiescence is all that’s required.

Rule number one: Avoid leftists like the plague.
Liberals only care about themselves. If they leave the next generation extinct, they don’t care.
If you look for it, Leftist leaders often talk about reducing the population of the Earth for “sustainability”. What they mean is, the optimal number of slaves to support the chosen elite.
To get there, you have to kill billions, or convince them to die or not reproduce. The Left pursues all avenues.
Many on the Left believe man is a disease on the planet, which should be eliminated.

As an aside, I once had neighbors who were very permissive parents (they thought they were being "cool"). They let their children run wild. When they went away on weekends, their children had parties at their home and the parents didn't seem to mind...even if they had alcohol and drugs at those parties.
Eventually, one of their children overdosed and the rest of them ended up in rehab.
Point being, there is no natural equilibrium to such permissiveness and the behavior it enables. This kind of behavior is like a wildfire. It won't go out on its own. It rages until it destroys everything in its path.
People always get hurt.
The leaders on the Left WANT the destruction. They believe that after all is destroyed THEY will impose Utopia. What they mean is a feudal state, with a few Elites and the rest slaves.
The poor stupid leftists who follow this are just that: stupid. Prog leaders are the most evil people the world has ever know. Prog followers (all the Dem voters and many Repub voters) are hopelessly stupid.
The basic premise of the article is that the leftists are making themselves extinct. This is something I caught on to years ago.
Homosexuals do not procreate. They are not necessarily making themselves extinct as they entice others into their perverse way of life to keep it going.
Abortion - yes, that’s definitely one way to get the left extinct, but through their policies they have made abortion as natural of a choice as giving birth for anyone falling for their line.
And the guns, crime, open borders are also reducing the population of our natural citizen/cultural makeup.
Now add to this perpetual wars with some of these zealots actually wanting a nuke war, and I’d say the article is wrong, they are not making themselves (the left) extinct, they are trying to make the human race as a whole extinct.
They are very evil people.
Anyone who claims to have, or speaks of, “my truth”, is a moron who should be ignored and/or avoided at all costs.
I want to see it wielded VENGEFULLY, like, unrelenting, scorched earth vengefully. I’m pretty tired of the losing “high road”.
The first paragraph is merely pointing out what we all know, that the human brain is not fully developed until age 25. It is at that point that it starts answering the concept of consequences to actions.
What’s really happening is The logical conclusion to what started happening in the ‘60s. That is, someone coined the word teenager and then we started actually giving their ideas credibility.
People in their early twenties and the teenagers really shouldn’t have a voice in our culture. There’s still children in every way except physically. And even then just barely. That is, they’ve made it through puberty. And when we start giving their attitudes and beliefs credibility, all that ends up happening is we have a young culture that’s rutting like animals.

My neighbors opted for a non-hospital “birthing center” this week. Very touchy feely lefty.
Something during delivery went wrong, and the baby was starved of oxygen during and after birth, on the long ride to a real hospital that could fix it. How much permanent brain damage will the poor defenseless boy suffer the rest of his life because of the “feelings” of his parents?
Just frosts me.
If they were sincere in that belief, they would have offed themselves already. Instead, they expect others to sacrifice for their utopia.
The NEA perpetuates this because they consistently do an end run on facts of history (among other disciplines).
Liberals think the egalitarian HS is the answer to the worlds problems...as if efforts in that direction have ever served any but the already successful and prosperous Establishment.
Add to that ... Liberals blame all problems on the US. That is the fools and the lazy man's answer to the problems facing the world.
