I had a dentist years ago who had me chew on a Sugar Daddy candy to pop the temporary crown off!
My dentist was next to a Braum’s ice cream shop and I teased him having a sugar shack to boost business. He laughed and said he actually gives coupons at times. Turns out the cold from the treat is great to recover from dental work. An ice pack that tastes great!
