Don’t see the Hunter Biden gun case as an effort to hold the president’s prodigal son to account, but as a political maneuver aimed at protecting the prosecutors, perhaps the defendant, and certainly his father.
This sideshow diverts the public’s gaze from far larger corruption: Felony gun charges are piddling when weighed against the selling out of our country, not to mention the leverage Hunter’s dubious dealings and debauchery might have provided our enemies in the way of kompromat.
Yes, it features many “shiny objects,” some juicy, and others genuinely newsworthy, from the riveting trainwreck that was Hunter Biden’s life at the time he committed the alleged offenses — lurid details of his drug abuse, relationships and recklessness — to the vindicating-for-The-Post-but-still-unbelievable Justice Department decision to enter the “laptop from hell” into evidence.
Yet, while Special Counsel David Weiss and by extension Attorney General Merrick Garland will play this as the Biden Justice Department’s pursuit of even the president’s son without fear or favor, it’s no such thing.
First, Hunter may well be found not guilty, or at least get a hung jury. His team is tugging at the heartstrings of jurors hailing from a state in which the Bidens are royalty.

Peter Schweizer’s outstanding book: “Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends” has an entire chapter on the Biden family. Their corruption has been widely known for a long time.
It is an open a shut case he lied on the form that is a felony. The DOJ can literally make this look good knowing he’ll never get convicted in a town where he literally knows jury members.
At worst it’s looking like a hung jury. So I wasn’t expecting much from this trial and that’s what happened.
I disagree. But I’ve always thought the FBI protected Hunter in order to control Joe. One hand washes the other - we protect your criminal son, you look the other way when we tell you to.
But Joe changed his mind and decided by golly he was smart enough and good enough to run for a 2nd term. Then all of a sudden the FBI is seriously going after his criminal son, and even has put the laptop from hell into evidence so it can be used as needed to force Joe to step aside.
Time will tell.
The Crimes selected all leave Joe and the $30 Million out of it. Very convenient.
Don’t try that at home.
Hunter is being tried in obsessively Biden-suck-up Delaware, in lockstep with the shady Bidens.

It’s been obvious to me for some time that the only reason the corrupt DOJ and the Bidens have consented to this prosecution was to charge the least possible offense in order to protect the other members of the corrupt Biden family and their financial schemes. So was the with holding of $1 BILLION in USA Aid to Ukraine when Obama/Biden stopped the investigation into Ukraine Energy issues.

Unfortunately, people who consume only the propaganda media, only saw it when it was broadcast live. Since most of the “MSM“ media has a small audience, very few people in their audience ever saw it.
This is the same reason that the Democrat party was very happy with the tiny attendance at Biden campaign events in 2020. The fewer people who saw him live, the fewer people who saw all of his incompetence. Later the propaganda media could massage his smattering of cogency. We gloated about Trump‘s enormous campaign events, but the Democrat party leaders were laughing.
I have never understood why Republicans did not use that short video on campaign ads ever since Biden threatened to withhold that money from Ukraine. My only possible answer is that the majority of Republican party bigs are just members of the party of collusion. Not all though. So I still do not get it.
