Many people have the idea that, if you’re a psychopath, you are going to murder somebody if you haven’t already.
No. But you COULD.
They may not murder anyone (directly) but they can harm in other, detrimental ways. Psychopaths can not empathize and really can not feel, like most people, and fake it as was mentioned. In some cases, they fake (mimicking) in an effort to deceive to gain power and control. More importantly, they do not have a conscience and as a result, cross moral lines. Bernie Madoff is a good example, but so did Fauci and it would appear that people have died or at least suffered by his action/decisions.
The definition of psychopath indicates repeated criminal or antisocial behavior without remorse or empathy.
