Leonard Nimoy was always gracious to us neighbors and fans here in Boston. He even visited the jewish Nursing Home where I worked because there were some old neighbors from Mattapan who were residents there.

He was a real mensch.

A (late) friend was a published science fiction author. He found himself seated next to George Takei at a book signing table at a “con”. My friend had few customers, George had many. No surprise. So he had the opportunity to observe ... George was extremely gracious with all of his fans from beginning to end. The man has filthy personal habits and political opinions I find reprehensible, but he at least knows how to be a good “celebrity”.
