HERE’S A SPOCK STORY!
My little sister was a huge Spock fan. She and her best gf were visiting the gf’s grandparents in Brookline, who lived right next door to Leonard’s parents. The two little girls saw Leonard getting out of a car, as he was visiting.
They ran over to him and asked for his autograph. He opened up the trunk of his car and gave them each an autographed 8 x 10, and one of Shatner too.
I have no idea where those pictures are now.

When I was a kid ‘Highway Patrol’ was a TV show starring Broderick Crawford.
I remember seeing Leonard as a young man on that show who had some kind of dangerous cargo and he got contaminated..................

A (late) friend was a published science fiction author. He found himself seated next to George Takei at a book signing table at a “con”. My friend had few customers, George had many. No surprise. So he had the opportunity to observe ... George was extremely gracious with all of his fans from beginning to end. The man has filthy personal habits and political opinions I find reprehensible, but he at least knows how to be a good “celebrity”.

They are mental cases to begin with, so it’s no surprise that they should act like one in public from time to time. Had a gay couple as neighbors once. They were quiet and were hardly ever making any ‘scenes’ at the apartments.
Then one day another gay couple moved in next door to them and it was fights and hissy fits all day every day.......................
