I had two homosexual bosses. Both were out of the closet; one was a decent guy occasionally joked about it, but it wasn’t the sole aspect of his life. The other had no other aspects to his personality except to wield petty power and desperately searched for any possible thing to be offended by. Total asshole. I’m sure there are plenty like the latter.
Went to a work party one time and the ahole and the ahole’s partner came with him. The ahole himself promptly scurried off looking for higher management backsides to kiss. That left the partner and several of my coworkers who sitting in a room with the coworkers talking about predictive modeling. In a lull in the conversation the partner introduced himself as “hello everyone my name is ****** and I’m a gay man.” Like anyone cared. One of my fellow conservative types then asked him. “Is that all there is to you? Don’t you have any other aspects or interests?” I forgot what happened after that, but the conversation did not go on to the gay topic that the partner wanted to push.
The reason that person only wanted to push and discuss the ‘gay’ side is that there is very likely there was nothing else with respect to him that is WORTH talking about.
If someone introduced themselves to me like that I would answer "Well, my name is ****** and I love to have sex with my wife".
