I know plenty of semi-wealthy and wealthy individuals who are high up on their moral horse and refuse to vote for Cheeto Hitler.
Wonder if they are prepared to pay unrealized capital gains taxes, sell their holdings to pay said taxes and then pay 40% capital gains taxes on top of it?

Oh, sure. Most members of "the opposition party" talk a good game, but when it comes to actually accomplishing something as important as, literally, saving our Republic and defending our Constitution from the ever more powerful and incessant attacks on Liberty by the ruthless Democrat/Communist Party Left, we see just how bereft of courage, conservative principles and, clearly, energy are our elected representatives.
A pitiful lot of them at such a crucial time of America's history that we've voted in to defend our founding principles.
I think the Democrats will rue the day this conviction happened. If we continue to hammer at the theme of the erosion of individual rights and tick off the list of things the Democrats have done, this whole process will backfire.
I have yet to find one person who knows that in certain states, illegals are allowed to vote in Federal elections. The GOP needs to make this known to everyone and tie it to Biden’s refusal to close the border. Either the GOP is inept or they are in cahoots with the bad guys.

A donation to the Trump campaign will speak to the fear that liberals have regarding Trump. I am going to donate specifically to protest this blatant violation of law.
Your last point is spot on. Make no mistake about it: The Swamp is firmly in control.
Even if we succeed in getting Trump elected we are a long way from any type of restorative actions. The entire Swamp will be mobilized to work against him on every level, and he won’t have much in the way of help from the gutless GOP.
The country is in a very bad place right now. Remedies are a long way off.

Yes, but Republicans have a way of turning victories into defeats. I’d feel better if the Senate would replace McConnell now with maybe Rand Paul. And who may replace turncoat Johnson in the House? And someone needs to put a fire under Jordan and others that talk up a storm but never produce any actions.

They don’t rue anything they do because they never have to face any consequences. Being a Democrat means never having to say you’re sorry.
And the GOP doesn’t do a thing to impose any semblance of accountability or lower the boom on the Dems when they’re in a position to.
This travesty produced a big reward for the Dems and will only serve to encourage more aggression by them.

The GOP is infested with RINOs and that’s on the voters who keep voting on the basis of rhetoric instead of results. They need to get a clue and start demanding accountability. But that’s probably not going to happen.
When I saw this was from newsweek then I was so sure this guy was going to rant about what a fair trial this was. Pleasantly surprised that is not how the article went.

Their long march has paid off for them. One by one their victories, and their power, accumulated.
As much as I hate to say it, those with the most determination to win usually do. Unfortunately, most conservatives just want to be left alone but that’s not going to cut it going forward. Yesterday should have been a game changing wake up call. We’ll see.
